Benefits of Staging Your House For Sale

Did you know that spending a $1,000 staging your house before putting it on the market will increase the sales price of your home by at least $6,000? Money spent on staging is easily recovered in the quick sale of your house.

Staging, otherwise known as Home Enhancement, is the process of getting a home ready to be sold. It can involve clearing away clutter and simplifying existing furniture arrangements, or renting furniture. It can also involve repairing or repainting to increase maximum appeal to buyers in a competitive market. Whatever the scale of the job, the goal is to get the house sold in the shortest time possible and for the best asking price.

Show your property at its absolute best! Staged homes show better in photos and virtual tours, are perceived as well-maintained homes, create a better first impression, and appeal to a wider buying audience.

Living Spaces Redesign will prepare your entire property from the interior design, curb-appeal, to the yard and gardens so that it sells quickly and for top dollar.

Bring New Energy into Your Life and Living Spaces

The average person spends most of their life inside, usually in the same spaces day after day, at work and at home. Psychologists and Feng Shui practitioners all suggest that improving your interior environment will have a significant impact on your behavior, health, well-being and level of energy.

“We shape our dwellings and after wards our dwellings shape us.” - Winston Churchill. Your house is a powerful force in your life. The spaces you spend your life in affect your mental and spiritual health. There’s no doubt about it: We are shaped by our surroundings. We are affected for better or worse by the energy in our homes.

Think about the feeling you get when you walk into a harmonious room, compared to one that is overstuffed, cluttered and chaotic. One will calm you while the other will fray your nerves. It goes without saying that if you have a messy house, your life also will be messy. If there is stagnation and clutter your life will feel the same.

Look around your house with a fresh eye. An update; a design face-lift, will improve the quality of your life. Think about new ways to make your living spaces come alive. You bring new energy into your life and your environment without draining your bank account simply by shuffling your furniture and accessories from one room to another. When you make your home feel fresh and new, you will feel empowered, exhilarated and joyful. Simply by moving the furniture around, hanging a painting in a new place, and moving out the old to create room for the new, you will bring a surge of fresh, creative energy into your living spaces.

Rearranging the furniture is life-empowering. Whenever you feel stuck, rearranging your living spaces is a very energizing way to help you to snap out of a funk. You become empowered, exhilarated and joyful. So rearrange your furniture to unblock your creative energy!

Refresh Your Living Spaces

It’s time to rethink your living spaces.  Have they become dull and dysfunctional?  Maybe they’re not supporting your needs, or making you as happy as they should be.  For instance: it’s hard to spend time in rooms that are cold and uncomfortable, or guests don’t feel welcome in.  Everything may seem okay at first glance, but something just doesn’t look or feel right and you can’t quite put your finger on it.  When you try to sit down for a while, you become restless and can’t concentrate.
Top designers know this secret: You don’t necessarily need to add more stuff to improve a space– sometimes it’s better to take stuff away. You’ll be surprised that the majority of the most satisfying design solutions come from reconfiguring cramped or unusable rooms or simply reconfiguring the furniture you already own, and removing unnecessary clutter.
Most people don’t think that much about the advantage of removing items as a way to spruce up a room.  If your room is overstuffed, and messy- consider thinning things out.  You’ll be amazed at how it will refresh the room.  The first step for positive change is a good purge.  Admit that some of the things from an earlier life no longer appeal to you.  Live with what you love, and get rid of the rest.   No matter where you live, in a large or small house, you’ll want it to feel uncluttered, bright and airy.  You’ll feel less anxious and more at ease in a room that breathes and has an openness about it.
Reevaluate the way your home does or doesn’t work now, and consider shuffling furniture from one room to another where it might function better. Consider new ways to make your rooms come alive. For the most part, revitalizing your home doesn’t necessarily mean going out and buying new things.  Often it’s just a matter of taking what you have and making the most of it. Imagination, and resourcefulness, can revive any space and can save you enormous amounts of money.
